If I could have just one dance with you, I would pick a song that never ends.

I am so pumped to share this wedding with you today! Colleen and Eric celebrated their beautiful wedding in the heart of the Nation's capital on the most beautiful day. The tropical storm from the day before had completely past and the skies were sunny and blue! It could not have been more perfect. Now, there were SO many amazing moments in this wedding so this blog post does have a few extra images... I just couldn't decide! One of my favorite moments from the beginning of the day was Colleen and Eric's first look at the J.W. Marriott. Both of their faces were priceless and their mutual joy to see each other was simply heartwarming. Before the ceremony, we quickly jumped over to the National Portrait Gallery for portraits with the wedding party... quite the appropriate gallery for portraits. ;)

By mid-afternoon we headed over to Sixth and I Synagogue were their beautiful Jewish ceremony was held. The traditions held within a Jewish wedding are probably the most fun and beautiful that I have ever seen. I loved how they showered Eric with love before being dancing up to see his bride in the sanctuary. Friends and family danced all around them and sang such celebratory words to both of them. As for the ceremony, it was so beautiful and touching. The two of them were so excited to be up there and committing themselves to one another.

After the ceremony, we all headed to the reception which was held at The Hamilton Live. An amazing event space where bands from all over the world come to play. It was the best place to set up for their slamm'in party later! I think my favorite part of the whole night was photographing The Hora! It was incredible! I've never seen such excitement and energy in a wedding... it was terrific! I am so happy to have been documenting all these amazing memories for Colleen and Eric... I hope they enjoy these for years to come! xo

A special thanks to my husband, my assistant, and my best friend for being by my side. You are always my hero! ;) xo
